I have been following the Battle Evome series for a long time, so it was cool to see that our own Speedhunter in Japan, Dino, was able to catch a glimpse of the series with his latest feature. The cars keep getting better and better so I want to share the three fastest vehicles that raced last Sunday here. I think most of you are familiar with these

This mesmerizing blue EVO X belongs to Ryan Gates. After seeing a lot of EVO Xs this month I came to the conclusion this car doesn't need any aftermarket bumpers. This vehicle already looks as it shoud: aggressive and purposeful. All other modifications are inside the car and under the hood. Let's take a closer look at what makes it tick...

This car has all the right, to look as crazy is it does. The engine has been bored to 2.2 liters and sports a huge turbo. The exterior has been enhanced with a complete VARIS bodykit. I really wonder what this car is capable of. You can see the buildup of the car on the owners blog here . -Jeroen Willemsen

I don't know what it is with the Swedes and their engine transplants. I just got these pictures from an event called Bilsport Performance & Custom Show , held in Jönköping, Sweden. As you can see, the show was full of quality builds and crazy engine setups. There were many unusual and unexpected cars present, like this carbon fiber

The Unlimited Works EVO V was spotted in the weekend on Tsukuba during one of the many Time Attack battles. This thing oozes style in every department, the wheel fitment, the body kit and it's white interior are a testament to this. It is capable of 57 second laps around Tsukuba, so it doesn't only look good, it can also back up those looks

A post made by Ben Schaffer on his blog regarding the aero on the Super GT 350Z, got me thinking about the Cyber Evo. I agree both cars are totally different but they are made with the same intention: to go as fast possible. Nowadays, it's not only a matter of pure power but maybe more so about downforce and handling. I wanted to highlight the aero

Tuesday morning I hit the road with a good friend of mine towards Essen, Germany; the place to be this week for European car fans. Inside the Messe building, resided one of the largest gathering of tuned cars in Europe.... But you won't find any tuned Hondas with large bodykits or fancy paintjobs at Essen; it's more like an aftermarket show

I was just browsing through some of the blogs I visit on a daily basis. One of them pointed me to a new website called HKS TV, It's some sort of HKS version of youtube. You can find all sorts of cool video's, from product reviews to onboard Time Attack video's of the HKS CT230R. Although everything is in Japanese you still get a good understanding

After the release of the new EVO X and the Impreza WRX, there were a lot of mixed feelings. The new EVO X got a lot of praise but the Impreza failed to amaze. After reading magazines and seeing tv shows like Top Gear, I started to like the EVO more and more. I know that the Impreza can look good, after seeing pictures that Mike shot during Time Attack

Everybody has seen the crazy aero canards on the DTM cars especially in the rear. The only car that comes close in the Japanese Time Attack grid is this Cyber Evo driven by Tarzan Yamada. The canards are made by Voltex, they even test the durability and function in a windtunnel. So these aren't their for show but they actually work and help Tarzan
