A Speedhunter without a proper project car just didn't feel right. So this morning I bought this BMW E30 316i car from a good friend. The car didn't want to start so tonight I'm going to work on it and see if I can make it run. In the meantime I'm making a list with goodies that I want, right now I'm thinking low, stance, no bodykit

While researching this blog post, I didn't want to make a standard Driver Profile of Paul Vlasblom like what we've been doing with the Formula D drifters. I wanted to turn it into a Q&A type of feature with lots of pictures of his cars, build projects and driving skills instead. Paul's career got started in 1998 when he was working for

I have posted pictures of this car before on my own blog . But I haven't seen any progress since, so I was hoping that the Speedhunters audience could shed some light what happened with this E30 twin turbo V8. So does anybody have any info on this car? Please let me know in the comments. -Jeroen Willemsen

After reading some of the comments on this feature (yes I do read all of your comments). Jacek pointed me into the direction of this awesome Hillclimb car. I must say I was very impressed by this car and even more so after seeing this video . The car belongs to Team Edlinger and has been build by Koppe Engineering in Austria. The base car is a BMW E30

I was just checking the Build Threads blog were I found this superb build of E30 M3 V10. It is not your typical engine conversion. It's more like a car conversion. The only original thing about this car are some of the bodypanels and interior pieces. They started with an original E30 M3 and stripped it bare. After stripping they ended up with this

This Sunday I went to the RSG Racing Days on the TT-circuit in Assen Holland, a circuit famous for hosting the MotoGP. However, this time it was the four wheel machines that ruled the circuit. On the way over there, I spotted some cars on trailers that were going the same direction, so I knew I was in for a treat. Once I reached the circuit and made

I was browsing through some Flickr accounts and came across this BMW that was shot by Egil A. from Norway. I made a test drive myself last week with a E30, unfortunately the engine was shot so I didn't buy the car... But when I do eventually purchase a E30. I hope mine will look as good as this one! -Jeroen Willemsen Egil Flickr's photostream

While we at Speedhunters were busy preparing for the VAG month the event called Bimmerfest took place in Santa Barbara on the 2 nd of may. Thanks to Mike Burroughs we can enjoy some of the photo's he took during this event. I am told that this is one of the biggest gathering in the USA for BMW enthusiast and judging by the pictures the level of

The King Of Europe is a drift series that is being held on Europe's mainland. They have eight rounds in various countries like France, Hungary, Belgium and the Czech Republic making it a true European Championship. It is more like a grassroots event, without big teams and sponsored cars and it's quite different than the drift series that are
