By popular demand, we've added some of Kevin Raekelboom's fantastic shots of the TUK Customs MK5 Golf to the Desktops section. Head over there now to find two different shots available in both widescreen and standard formats. -Mike Garrett

We've seen all sorts slammed and stretched cars this month, and not without a doubt Volkswagens are one of the world's most common platforms for this sort of styling. In some cases it can get a bit dull seeing Golf after Golf lowered on BBS wheels, but every once in a while you see a car like this one. There's nothing outstanding or gimmicky

Dropped VWs are a pretty common sight in the international euro scene but it's usually Golfs which are chosen as the starting point for projects; modified Passats rarely show, let alone brand new models. However Johnny Despagne's 2009 Passat CC was a mere 3 days old when it was given the air ride treatment. It's one reason why we continue

This car is getting famous all over the world and has been featured in many VW magazines, blogs and forums. When you look closely at this build, it's clear why it was recently on the cover of Performance VW magazine; this Golf is a top-end, high quality car. Don't look to Rob's funny face but look to the front of the car and how low he can

Every July, cars come from all over Europe to MIVW - short for Men in Volkswagen . It's probably Holland's biggest VAG event of the year. For the 2009 iteration, the organizers rented out a huge airport hanger - a pretty cool location! This worked out quite well as the Dutch weather was pretty poor this weekend so we got to check out these cars

Like I said in the Audi TT feature this morning, I used up all my current crop of AWD photos in the VAG month... but I'm sure you guys will like this Euro VW Golf as much as an AWD car, maybe better! This mk4 is owned by Davy, he likes to have everything perfectly finished. A real detail freak! And that's what we like at Speedhunters! Davy's

Matte colors are always a point of discussion, you like it or you do not. At Worthersee you'll find a lot of matte colored cars. I bet the owner of this Corrado has something to do with the Army. If you were wondering what the 'scoop' is doing in his front grill, if I say the car has 500hp, does that say enough? Enjoy this last part of Worthersee

Worthersee is definitely the place to be when you're looking for GTI's, RS, R, VR6, G's, and other special models of Volkswagen or Audi. You can find every VAG model here, and even better, you can find every model modified! This owner made a 1000km trip to Worthersee, from the south of France.... But with this modified RS6 it went pretty

End of May is the time of the year for the annual VAG Worthersee event. Year after year, this event takes place in the town of Velden, Austria next to the beautifull Worthersee lake. Along with the great weather, the huge lake and loads of VAG cars make this the top gathering of the year for the VAG-lovers from all across Europe. In general, loads of

If you someone says "historic Volkswagen", chances are you'll picture an old Beetle, a bus, or maybe a Karmann Ghia. If watercooled VW's are your thing, then a classic probably means a MK1 Golf or maybe an early Scirocco. Another Volkswagen model with a long history is the Polo, the compact car which has been on the market since 1975
