I know we are wrapping up Mazda month right now, but I have a few more photos I wanted to post before moving on. Last weekend at HKS Premium Day and the JCCA New Year Meeting, I spotted a number of Roadsters in and around the events, and I thought posting some of the photos would be a good way to close out the month. While these cars aren't the

For Mazda Roadster enthusiasts in Japan (or J-style roadster fans from around the world), there's only magazine to know. Road&Ster . It's essentially the bible for those who live the "Roadster Life". If someone is fan of Japanese style Roadsters, chances are they have spent a lot of time hunting down R&S issues, and even more

Hopefully you guys have been pleased with all the Roadster/Miata content we have been posting over the past couple weeks. I know I've been enjoying it (though maybe I'm a bit worried that the prices for used Miatas and parts is going to go up!). Anyways, this time I wanted to go through my archive and post up some Roadster photos that I've

I've been busy today making last minute preparations for Tokyo Auto Salon, but I wanted to take a quick break from that to post up some more photos from the archive. Today's theme: Track Tuned RX7's at Tsukuba Circuit . The FD3S is one of the most popular circuit cars in Japan, meaning I have an abundance of photos them and that I'm

Since I knew January was going to be Mazda month, I have been planning to do a post with photos of various grassroots RX7 drift cars I have shot in the USA and in Japan over the past year or two. As I hunted through my old photos trying to remember which events had cool RX7's, I realized that RX7 drift cars are actually pretty rare. Sure, there's

A few weeks ago when I went to Tsukuba Circuit to get some extra shots for my Temple of Speed story, I happened to arrive just as a big RX7 meeting was wrapping up. I didn't know the event was going on and I was kicking myself for not coming earlier and shooting it for Mazda Month. There were a few cars still hanging around in the paddock though

Since it's Mazda month, I just wanted to share this totally random photo (that's why we call it random snap) with you guys. I was riding down to Suzuka Circuit a little over a year ago with Koyama and Kumakubo when I spotted this strange looking car on the highway. It was the first time I had ever seen something like this; I didn't know
