Like 99% of car fans, I grew up with motors all around me – my old man loved his cars, often bringing classics back from Italy including a Lamborghini Espada, 1976 Porsche 911 and even began building his own Jaguar E-type until the unfortunate birth of the brother put a stop to things... Anyways, since 2004 I’ve been a ‘motoring journalist’
The Panspeed and Revo FDs tend to get the most attention during the many Time Attack events at Tsukuba... But this Screen Powers FD also deserves some love. This car packs quite the punch with almost 450bhp thanks to a HKS T04Z turbo. -Jeroen Willemsen Screen Powers
I never realized how clean a FD would look without a spoiler. It really shows the timeless design of the Mazda FD. -Jeroen Willemsen
After checking the RE-Extreme blog I came across this picture. I have seen this same FD numerous times before on pictures when it was going through its paces on Tsukuba, even Mike has captured this car before. I never realized that it was a street legal car. Uras is the company started by Ken Nomura, the famous D1GP drifter and one my personal favorite drivers. Uras specializes in bodykits for several brands but mainly focusing on Nissan. Did you know that Uras also has a café and bakery? They even have a large RC arena where customers can test their Yokomo cars. Last year at the Tokyo Auto Salon

Its real easy to order the best parts from Japan but gets a lot harder to make a car look cohesive and integrated. I
I haven't featured a lot of Mazda's on Speedhunters previously, but that's about to change with this post. I found some incredible pictures made by Brian Munro at a local Rotary meet in Kobe, Japan. He used a technology called HDR to give the pictures this amazing look. I'm don't like it when photographers over do HDR, but Brian
I just can't stop staring at this photo, the car looks so good in so many ways. The gold wheels, they look like 18", together with the Fujita Engineering Version 2 bodykit are a perfect match with the classic lines of the FD RX7. I know some you purists don't want to see any bodykit on a RX7, but I feel that the Fujita Kit pulls it off
I wanted to continue on Mike's story about the VIP style. I had this picture as my wallpaper for a very long time, because I just loved the look of the Black FD on chrome Weds Bvillens. I consider the car, just like the RX8 in the back, build in true VIP fashion. But I do not associate small, nimble and light cars with VIP. When I see a car build
