Hello Speedhunters my name is Mathieu van den Oever and I am from Utrecht in The Netherlands. After I had stopped skateboarding due to injuries, my love for racing and drifting took over and it has not stopped since. Things got even worse after my first trip to Japan where I got introduced to cars and products I could only dream of before. At the moment
I hope you guys enjoyed Skyline Week on Speedhunters and found it to be a somewhat eye opening experience. I had a sense that the Skyline community was a global massive, but seeing all of the reader's rides submissions has deepened my understanding of this international scene. One key cultural flashpoint for all things GT-R related is the UK -someone
Hello Speedhunters! As Skyline Week comes to a close we have for you a small, but nonetheless beautiful, selection of R35s, G35s and a G37. Thanks to everyone who sent in their photos. This R35 has undergone minimal modifications but has maximum presence. The car looks almost stock, but those small touches like the Hasemi carbon frontlip and and sideskirt (can I call it that?) make it stand out. After seeing this car I feel that a nice drop can make any car look good. The drop has been achieved with a Esprit Quantum coil over set
Well it's Friday, the last day of Skyline Week. Have you guys had enough yet? To finish off my journey through the Speedhunters archives, I've assembled a gallery highlighting some of the late model Skylines and GT-R's featured on the site. I've included V35 and V36 chassis cars, as well as the R35 GT-R. Above, we have the Amuse R35
After the R32s and the R33s it's now time for the R34, my favorite model. Once again I wanted to start with one of my personal favorites. I know that the R34 has been made with one thing in mind, performance. But these chrome Work Meister S1 wheels looks so good on this white R34. The black accents like the wingstays and the carbon spoiler on the
Well Speedhunters, today is March 4 and in Skyline Week that means R34s! Remember you only have a couple more hours to submit pictures of your R35s, G35s and G37s... Carlos Rodriguez - Dominican Republic (above) Jason Ho - Australia Jamieson Dumanas - Australia Hiro Sakane - Australia Anthony - Australia Brent Herfurth Damien - Australia Ed Chambers
For my next trip through the Speedhunters archive, I've gathered a selection of R34 Skylines of all types. There was A LOT to choose from, but I think I've assembled a pretty nice spectrum of cars here. Here they come - The Auto Gallery Yokohama BNR34, found recently by Dino at Fuji Speedway. A little drag action at the Trust Zeroyon Festival
You are looking at one of the most far out GT-R time attack projects ever created. It cost a massive $350,000 to build and has yet to see the light of day on a race track. It all started back in 2006 when Hiroya-san, a very good customer of Garage Ito in Osaka, decided to see if he could challenge the lap time record at Tsukuba set by the HKS CT230R
Alright Speedhunters, here we have the R33 submissions for Skyline Week. Tomorrow will be the R34s and the day after will be R35s, G35s and G37s. We have to say that we need some more submissions for these two posts... only one R35 sent in so far. So get your camera out, call your friends who own these vehicles, have some fun with it - we'd love
