Just uploaded a new desktop wallpaper featuring JTP and his RX7 laying rubber and bursting in ear drums on the streets of Hollywood. Head over to the Desktops section for widescreen or standard versions. -Mike Garrett
I met up with a bunch of the local rotary crew here in Vancouver last week, had some beer and some wings and did a lot of bench racing, always fun to meet up with some Rotangs. The late night antics of a couple of the guys was pretty fun too. There may or may not have been an 'incident' with a Toyota Prius, I can't comment on it here though
Ever since I saw Rod's feature on the Dandy FC3S during the Bonneville Speed week I have been meaning to drop by their shop to check out not only the RX-7 but also meet the man behind it all, Dandy Tanaka. Kindly enough Tsuyoshi Narita, a customer and follower of Dandy kindly arranged my visit during a rather warm winter Saturday afternoon. It never
This FC RX7 comes to us by way of reader Faezin of Singapore, who wanted to share his project car with us. To describe this RX7 as "full tuned" would be a bit of understatement. Faezin has outfitted the car with a full R-Magic wide body conversion and JIC suspension, among many other things. Thrust comes from ported 13B with a TD06-20G Greddy
We've featured quite a few reader-owned FC RX7's this month haven't we? Here's one more, owned by George who represents the great state of Arizona. Somehow when I see this car, I get the feeling that if Nakai-san of Rauh Welt had an FC, it'd look something like this. That's never a bad thing. -Mike Garrett
Pretty close to being done the cage and all the chassis prep! Took this pic last weekend. I'll post up some real pictures soon, lost my camera charger so this iPhone picture will have to do... - Carl Jarrett
SoCal based reader Dane Harding sent us this awesome picture of his FC RX7 drifting the Horsethief Mile course at Willow Springs. The photo was taken by none other than Mr. Papparazi, Lary Chen of Driftfotos.com. -Mike Garrett
Slava hails from the great state of Colorado and comes to us with a simple request - to help him fire up Colorado's drifting community. In his words - "So the drift scene here in Colorado is starting to die off. Me and a few others are trying to keep people excited about this s___ again so we can all have more than two events a year. A lot
1.9? Why 1.9? Well I haven't got as much done as I'd like to have, but am still making progress, and am making progress in the planning stages as well. I've been busy prepping the car for a LOT of work in the coming months. Its pretty boring stuff at this stage, so don't say I didn't warn you. I spent almost 2 days crouched inside
Its been too long since I posted that teaser, but check it out! I'm pretty stoked to be able to see a glimpse of what my project will look like when its done (next year). Here's where the nerd in me comes out, I mocked up this shot of the car in a windtunnel, not that it'll ever see one I'm sure, but a cool image regardless. There is
