Amongst the Speedhunters on site at the Petit Le Mans, I've been designated the press room worker. So while John Brooks and Linhbergh were off shooting the race, I've been sitting here watching the Speed TV feed and listening to Radio Le Mans. Out the window I can see one corner of the track, but I might as well be in my living room as I'm

I'm sure that you are all somewhat familiar with this beautiful piece of engineering -the Rahal Letterman Racing BMW M3 GT2.... And lucky for you, BMW agreed to let me get under the skin of the GT2 during my recent trip to Rahal Letterman Racing a few weeks ago. I've been following the development of this car with some interest since the racing

It's now BMW Month on Speedhunters so we thought it would be fitting to bring together the first 3 series GT racer with the current ALMS GT2 weapon for September's desktop calendar release. Look out for full features on both of these cars in the coming weeks. You can download standard or widescreen Calendars in our desktop section.

I spent a good portion of Saturday tooling around the Long Beach GP with Mike Garrett... it was great to catch up with him, but also not so good for Speedhunting as we ended up photographing very similar elements that day. I just had to give him a call to make sure we write about different things!... Anyway here goes..... It seemed like someone would

For the past 35 years, the sound of racing engines has reverberated throughout the streets of Long Beach in southern California. The Long Beach Grand Prix is the longest running street race in the USA and any motorsports fan who has attended the race will attest that it's a world class automotive event. This is the second year that I've attended

Ever heard the saying "You better treat people well on your way up, as they'll be the same people you'll see on your way back down" .... Interesting words, although perhaps it's not the best ultimate motivator to become a good, honest and helpful person in life.... In my opinion, you should always be truthful and straight forward

We'd like to congratulate the four class winners from the 2009 12 hours of Sebring, no doubt one of the most grueling motorsports challenges on the planet. First in the P1-class went to the number 2 Audi driven by the all-star cast of McNish, Kristensen and Capello, in what must be a dream debut for the R15. The lone surviving P2 finisher was the

Earlier this week, famed Sportscar author Janos Wimpffen presented the epic battle of Sebring 1970 , one of the most famous runnings of this Florida endurance classic... well it appears that we have another story for the history books. At the seven(ish) hour mark, the top two cars are separated by only 1.6 seconds, with the Peugeots and the Audis perfectly

Ooooooooo I just love this car.... I just noticed that Andy Blackmore had a big stack of files on his HD that he was keeping all to himself..... so I've stolen a few of them for us to enjoy together.... For me, this is one of the most eagerly anticipated new race cars of 2009.... Notice the RAYS logo? I am waiting for someone to build a street replica
