When I was in my teens, every year I'd look forward to the six hour drive from Vancouver to Oregon, to watch the G.I. Joes Grand Prix at Portland International Raceway. It was an amazing time for sports car racing in America, with factory entries from Jaguar, Nissan, Toyota, and Ford as well as a host of privateer Porsches. In the support role to
I don't really have time to say anything poetic about this shot... other than the fact that I love race cars that also act like flamethrowers! The GT1 Lambos are on top form in this regard... ok gtg.. heading out to shoot the FIA GT3 race at Silverstone! There are DESKTOP images available too before you ask... :R
Ok let's jump straight in, to finish up my observations from Formula D Long Beach, with a look at some snaps from Saturday, the final event day. I decided to shoot the qualifying sessions from the Formula D judging tower. From this vantage point you can get a view of the full circuit which is great. I was also able to grab a quick snap of FD staff
I'm currently sitting on site at the NFS Electro Lounge, listening to the sound of roaring engines mixing in with DJ Miki Taka's throbbing basslines... Unfortunately this just wasn't enough time to get used to and maximize the crazy grip of his new Falkens
A little present for your computer as we count down the hours for the kick off of Formula D 2010! Pick it up in the Desktop area. :R
Myself and my colleagues at Speedhunters and Need for Speed are really into some new territory, as we prepare for the debut of Matt Powers and Mike Whiddett at Formula D Long Beach tomorrow. We know all about making crazy media and gaming projects, but an international automotive project is quite a different experience all together. Mind you, I am to
Ahh there's something rather refreshing about getting out of a typical 9-5 (or 7-5 in my case a lot of the time) day to day routine! Today I took a quick flight from Vancouver to Los Angeles, picked up the trusty NFS Shelby Terlingua and rumbled over to Twins Turbo Motorsport in Long Beach. Parked up out front of the shop was Mad Mike's new
If you were to try and map out to my seemingly endless love of the automobile, a single type of car would rise out above all of my other motoring interests. A type of machine, that never fails to stir my soul, make my heart race and causes me to grin from ear to ear like an unhinged maniac. I'm sure most of you, dear readers, are going to be with
ooooooo... I think I'm in love! :R
