Last month during the Streetpower event at Zandvoort, a few cars stood out to me and because this is Motorsport month I waited to feature them until now. One of the cars that got major attention during the event was this E36 built by DBM Engineering in Holland. At its first outing on Zandvoort the BMW didn't disappoint with a second place finish
Should I even add words? This amazing all carbon Revolution FD has been seen doing some laps at the recent RE-Wars round 4 at Tsukuba. I can't wait for Dino's coverage of the Super Lap Battle at the same circuit. Will this FD take the crown or will some of the other contenders like the Mspeed R34 (my favorite) be faster? -Jeroen Willemsen
This mesmerizing blue EVO X belongs to Ryan Gates. After seeing a lot of EVO Xs this month I came to the conclusion this car doesn't need any aftermarket bumpers. This vehicle already looks as it shoud: aggressive and purposeful. All other modifications are inside the car and under the hood. Let's take a closer look at what makes it tick...
After checking the RE-Extreme blog I came across this picture. I have seen this same FD numerous times before on pictures when it was going through its paces on Tsukuba, even Mike has captured this car before. I never realized that it was a street legal car. That in itself makes this car even cooler than it already was. Can you imagine driving a car
After I promised you guys to make a car feature of the Denstsport 240RS, here it is. I have been in contact with Bill Washburn from Denstsport about this car who drove the car during the GT Live Red Line Time Attack event. It seems that more and more car builders are giving more attention to how the air flows around the car. Same goes for Dentsport
A couple of days ago I got a tip from one our readers who lives in the UK. He gave me a link and the only thing he said was "I know you will like this". When I pressed the link, I got confronted with the car you see before you and I was blown away. This car has been in the making for the past three years and it started its life as an ‘ordinay'
After his success with the Sun Auto's Cyber Evo, 'Tarzan' Yamada has commissioned Cusco to build him a new Time Attack car. This time it's different because now he will campaign this car as Team Tarzan, and he will drive the car himself in the various Time Attack series. Cusco has brought in heavyweights like Tomei and Voltex to help
Like I said in the previous post, there were alot more cars on track during the Time Attack in Holland . I have gathered some of the pictures to give you a idea of the diversity of cars that were present. From high end Japanese cars to American muscle cars and everything in between. The Dutch Time Attack is not as much a showcase for different tuners
The Autovisie Time Attack is a Dutch event that takes place on Circuit Park Zandvoort. They have different classes in which people can drive their cars. I will show the Pro Street class because it's the most fun and it only allows cars that are streetlegal. This year the fastest time (2:00.163) was driven by Kevin Go in the R33 you see in the picture
One of the biggest events for modified cars in Germany is the TunerGP, held every year at Hockenheim and hosted by Sport Auto Magazine. The show is mainly focused on Time Attack cars but it also features a round of the German IDC drift series. The Porsche you see here was the fastest car of the day: recording a time of 1:06,811. Its built by Techart
