Wow! Is it really the penultimate round of the 2009 UK Time Attack series? Has June passed already? Well the answer is yes to both counts and event four (of five) was held at Brands Hatch last weekend. It was part of the Modified Live Summer Special along with the Need for Speed European Drift Champsionship, a combination that has proved a success with

The UK Time Attack scene would stand comparison with any other such series on the planet. The events, competition, drivers and especially, the cars, would fit in right at the top of the field anywhere. Leading the charge towards top quality is one car, that stands head and shoulders above the others, the Roger Clark Motorsport Subaru Impreza or simply

Of all the pieces I've written for SpeedHunters, reporting a Time Attack event is possibly the most difficult. There is no real story or narrative, just the simple fact that someone posts the fastest time in the final session, a bit like trying to catch a jellyfish. Having said that, Olly Clark did his level best to stand out. Ed Fahey of Banzai

Time Attack 2009 style got off to a bang at the picturesque Oulton Park circuit last weekend. There was a good turn out with serious competition in all the classes, none more so than the Pro Competition which combined the Pro Class, Open Wheel/Protoype and Club Pro all running simultaneously to different rules. When the smoke cleared on the Super Battle

They say a week, in politics, is a long time. While I would hesitate to compare myself with the fools and charlatans that infest Parliament (I can only offer comments on the shower here in the UK) a week is also a long time in the SpeedHunters’ world. Today I sit here in the UK, “enjoying” the first real taste of winter with Northerly

Before I move on to getting you guys and gals (are there any ladies in here? hello?) a detailed, play by play report on the Red Bull Drifting event, I thought I'd better get on to writing our final wrapup from the Superlap Battle. Remember that?..... Ok let's have a look at some of the results and check out John Brooks' photo styles. So

This year is going by quickly isn't it? I've had the Superlap Battle on my travel calendar since the start of the year and it's always seemed like something far down the road... so I'm finding it somewhat hard to believe the event has come and gone, and now it's already time to move to our coverage of the Red Bull Drifting World

I am feeling a bit crabby at the moment... I started out today in Stockholm, Sweden and am now sitting here in a random motel in Buttonwillow, California.... It's been a long day and I need some shut eye.... But before my head meets the pillow I want to quickly show you a few scenes from Superlap Battle. John Brooks and I didn't make it out

My first taste of Time Attack in the UK came last weekend when the circus came to the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit. I have already featured the Zen Performance Impreza on SpeedHunters but the Sainted Editor, still in steamy Japan, requested a gallery feature on the Pro Class event. So it would seem appropriate to start with the car that ran a consistent
