This second installment covers the outside grounds of the VW-Speed Summer Show. In the opening picture you see the most favorite wheel amongst the show goers. The community is really laidback and it seemed that for most of the people that attended it was more like a get together with ‘old' and new friends. This Passat with Audi rims was right

Because of the lack of Japanese tuning shows in Holland I decided to pay a visit to the VW-Speed Summer show . It was really refreshing to see other kind of cars and their owners, both the scenes are a world apart. I had a feeling that inside the VW community there is place for the entire family. The show itself was bigger than I expected. You could

Here's some action from the 1977 VW Golf Junior Cup, AKA vintage one-make auto racing at it's best. Not only is the racing cool, but I also dig the cinematic, music-less style this film was done in. Enjoy. -Mike Garrett

I think that the focus on these particular Mk1s is all about clean style and not so much on crazy performance... of course there

After all the Porsches and drifting I thought it was time for another Volkswagen classic. This MK1 sports some amazing style. The baby blue exterior with the white interior is an instant classic. The owner also scores styling points with the wheel fitment, don't you agree? I found this car while browsing on the JDM Style Tuning forum. -Jeroen Willemsen

Love the colour and rims on this MK1 Golf; just a typical sighting when driving through Austria during the Wörthersee VW meeting (the largest gathering of VW's in Europe). A roll cage and straight through exhaust complements the car even further.

As you could see from my previous posts, I'm a real JDM car enthusiast. But I sure like to look at other cars when they are built properly and with a certain flair. In Europe the Volkswagen has a strong following, funny thing is that I see a lot of pictures from US built cars that try to look like the German built cars. Stretched tires and small
