Most people that flock to the Australian Grand Prix are obviously there for the Formula 1 and V8 Supercar action. But for car enthusiasts the event also serves as a gathering of some of Australia’s coolest rides. No matter where you look, the surrounding parklands (Albert Park is a public park temporarily converted into a track this time every

Hi Speedhunters! My name is Ying and this is the tale of my 1990 Toyota Starlet GT EP82 from Melbourne, Australia. My story begins late one night in 2004 on an almost empty freeway. I saw some headlights approaching incredibly fast. As it flew by, I caught a glimpse of the two letters that would shape the next few years of my life. A glowing “GT”

Some of you may have noticed my name on some Speedhunters posts already, I was the Staff Photographer and Production Editor for the Australian based Auto Salon Magazine, and with the last issue ever about to be completed, I will try to continue to feed Speedhunters with as much about the Australian scene as possible. The Australian modified car scene

Drift Australia - our national drift series – was one such company, with Ninety Degree Entertainment acquiring it towards the end of last year. Although the full national series will return in 2010, it was

Mark Berry and Russell Newman are the two-man team that has dominated Australia’s time attack scene. You’ve already seen glimpses of their insane Hi-Octane Racing R34 GT-R weapon in previous posts, and courtesy of Auto Salon Magazine here is a closer look at what it’s packing. Previously campaigning an R32 GT-R, Mark Berry and Russell

As the morning sun hit the track the drivers were out in full potential. Raceline's Stadium Drift Pro Tour Round #3 had commenced, but a very different outlook for the day.... Rather than driving on a 15 second course they were competing on Queenslands biggest and well known raceway "Queensland Raceway" Mumblezz's new type x 180 had

Even since I was very young, cars have always been THE thing. Like most people of my generation, Japanese cars have always been of special interest. One car in particular has always been my favourite, the AE86. With its lightweight, nimble chassis and the high revving 4age that emits such a beautiful sound, it just screams ‘drivers car’
